Generally speaking, no transmission of digital information over the internet is 100% secure and therefore, the security of your information is not something we can guarantee.
Information Access
We maintain your information except where a current or previous student enrolled in our research mentorship services requests to modify or delete it.
How Information is Shared
We do not sell any personal information of our enrolled students or mentors receiving research mentorship to third-parties, except with advisors or affiliates for the purpose of enhancing the quality of the Services, business purposes, or with payment collection tools (i.e., credit card payments between the user/customer and us).
We may share personal information if we are required by any applicable law or legal process (e.g., court order, investigation, violations of terms and conditions, defence against legal claims, financing or sale of our organization).
Age Considerations
Students that are over the age of 18 can directly enrol in our research mentorship Program, whereas students less than 18 years of age can apply for consideration to be enrolled in our Program under the supervision and consent of their guardian or parent.
GDPR
European Union residents have certain rights as described by the UK government’s information commission. Please contact us (and we will respond within 30 days) if you’d like to know how we collect information, access, change, delete, restrict, move, or transfer your information. For citizens or residents in the European Union or the United Kingdom, there are particular rights you have with regards to your data, such as the right to delete it, object to its use for marketing or sales, modify or access it, withdraw one’s consent, data portability, and object to its processing in general. These particular rights are detailed in the EU’s GDPR and UK’s GDPR laws. You can notify the Student Research Accelerator by email or through our contact form to pursue these particular rights and we will, as previously mentioned, reply within 30 days.
